Your Role

As an EHCP Writer, you will be responsible for:

• Writing clear, detailed, and legally-compliant EHCPs that outline the child’s needs and the support required.
• Reviewing and updating existing EHCPs to reflect changes in the child’s circumstances or needs.
• Staying informed about current legislation, guidelines, and best practices related to special education.
• Providing guidance and support to families throughout the EHCP process.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A degree in Special Education, Education, Social Work, or a related field.
• Experience in writing EHCPs or working in special educational needs is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of the legal framework surrounding EHCPs and special educational needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with families.
• Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to write clearly and concisely.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
