Key Responsibilities
As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients’ needs are met efficiently and courteously. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients and visitors in a warm and friendly manner.
- Handling patient registration, appointment scheduling, and verifying insurance eligibility
- Addressing patient inquiries and concerns, providing accurate information about services, and guiding them through the healthcare process.
- Maintaining patient records and ensuring confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborating with healthcare providers, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Assisting with billing inquiries and payment processing.
- Participating in patient outreach programs to improve community health awareness.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a commitment to outstanding service. To be considered for this position, you should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; further education in healthcare administration or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
